Works as advertised

I had a hard time figuring out how the app was supposed to work. But after posting an overly snippy 1st review, one of the developers, Andrew, walked me through my own stupidity. I wish it allowed a %view while from the closed wall paper screen, but evidently Cupertino doesn't allow that anymore. In any case, best app support I've received in years.

Highly Recommended! However..

Just got this App today because I'm tired of my iPod dying on me. So far I'm liking it! However, I feel like it might be a little off/not as accurate. For example, when it said my battery percentage was 15%, it suddenly went up to 18% when I checked back again. Another example is when I charged my iPod. After my iPod has said "100%" on my lock screen, so did the app. BUT, after I unplugged my iPod from charging, the app suddenly tells me my battery percentage is 99%. I tried this another time. I replugged my iPod to charge, then waited. After I few minutes, I saw my iPod said "100%" on the lock screen. So I unplugged my iPod and the App immediately changed from 100% to 99% when unplugged. Could this be a bug or error?? Hopefully an update will fix this. However, overall it is a very essential App if you have an iPod and curious to know your iPod's percentage!

Hi Kaonashi, thanks for taking the time to leave your review and for sharing your battery level observations. I can confirm from my own testing and from lots of other users feedback that these jumps are typical for the iPod touch's battery levels. They aren't bugs or errors from the app but are exactly what the battery is reporting its level to be. Another interesting thing you might not have seen yet is that the iPod Touch rarely, if ever, gets below 13%. If your battery reaches that level it's time to charge it soon!

The false information

I have seen the percentage jump on my iPhone 7s and Apple states that I need a new battery. I my self don't know if it is possible for the battery to go bad after installing the battery app lol. There nothing wrong with the app. you just need to let it charge for another fifteen to thrity minutes. When it shows 100% charged that is only because Ac is still plugged into the device and as soon as you pull the Ac from the device it shows the actual percentage of charge the battery has in reserve. So let it charge a few minutes more to finish topping off the percentages.
