Determine the IP address of the XP motorcar, then....
From the Windows 10 figurer
Open a command prompt and ping information technology by IP accost
for example
ping 192.168.1.222 (supercede with actual IP address of the XP machine
hit enter
IF that is successful
and so open the run command (windows logo fundamental + R) on your keyboard and blazon
\\192.168.1.222 (replace with actual IP accost of the XP machine)
striking enter or click OK
That should open a file explorer window with the shares yous've configured on the XP machine.

This share requires the obsolete SMB1 protocol, which is unsafe and could expose your system to attack
Yep.... that's something you're going to encounter with older Operating Systems
Others with older Network Attached Storage Devices, running older versions of Linux have had to enable SMB1 on their systems just to get to their devices.
Information technology'southward go a big deal at least since the 1709 verson, mayhap fifty-fifty before that as it is an assail vector for multiple malware infections including some pretty vicious ransomware products.
IF yous absolutely take to have it and tin can't do without it.....
You lot tin can toggle it on and off using
Command Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features
Left Column "Turn Windows features on or off"
Whorl down and you should be able to detect information technology.
A reboot is required
AND
All said and done information technology'southward probably not a very good idea at all.

Sounds like a prophylactic, sound approach.
Good plan.
